Chart notes
EXCESS MAGIC was racing along in the middle of the pack, angled at the head of the lane to the four path and closed with every stride, to just get up for the win. ARCHIDUST chased the pace, down the backstretch, racing along the rail, angled out down the lane with a rally, three wide and was outfinished at the wire. TIZ MAGIC stalked the pace early on, going two wide, dueled for the lead mid stretch and faltered late, holding on for show. SIGN OF WAR made an easy lead, dueling in mid stretch with a foe and gave way late. SPIRIT ANIMAL was near the back, two wide and offered an even effort. ZIP TIE was mid field, three wide and failed to respond in the stretch drive. BOB'S BAD BOY got off slow, then dropped back, was pulled up at the head of the stretch, did not finish and was vanned off.
