Chart notes
DARLING JOANNA raced in the three path around the first turn, chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, took over while racing in the two path around the far turn, kicked clear in the stretch and maintained a comfortable margin to the wire. MY FRIEND MR. JIM hit the gate leaving it, trailed the field on the outside around the first turn and up the backstretch, began a three wide bid racing around the far turn and chased the leader home while drifting, the best of the rest. MISS KENNEDY raced in the two path around the first turn chased the leader up the backstretch on the inside, saved ground around the far turn and gained ground mildly on the rail in late stretch. LUCKY GONE SWEET saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and made no bid. I'M A CUSTOM TO IT showed the way while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the second bend and tired in the lane. BODE'S CONNECTION raced off the pace in the two path through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn still in the two path and flattened out in the stretch.
