Chart notes
WHIMSICAL MUSE tracked the leaders while saving ground throughout, angled off the rail and bid two wide at the quarter pole, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely, edged away past midstretch and held on late for the win. VIGILANTES WAY raced off the pace with a ground saving trip, advanced inside on the turn, waited for room, angled out, lacked a clear path, split foes, rallied in the two path and closed well late inside of the winner. FLIPPANT had a three wide trip off the pace, went four wide on the far turn, rallied four wide in the stretch run and dug in gamely to the finish. ROCKY SKY (IRE) pulled leaving the chute, had a three wide trip racing off the pace, rallied three wide between rivals, was in tight quarters nearing the sixteenth marker and closed mildly. POR QUE NO set the pace on the inside, showed the way on the far turn, dueled into the stretch, dug in along the rail and weakened. BALLYMORE STAR (IRE) stalked two wide, chased on the far turn and faded. QUEENSHIP (IRE) pulled early and was steadied between rivals leaving the chute, then raced off the pace between horses and faded.
