Chart notes
OCEAN ROAD (IRE) off slow in the beginning, trailed a bit off the rail then moved out on the backstretch, tracked three wide into the far turn, swung out into the stretch, rallied four deep with a sixteenth remaining and got up late. GOING TO VEGAS stalked on the inside then moved a bit off the rail, bid from outside in the two path on the second bend, took over into the stretch, maintained a short lead under left-handed urging and got run down by the winner in the closing moments. GOING GLOBAL (IRE) bumped with THRUMPS DREAM entering the first turn, tracked in the two path then between rivals, tipped out into the stretch, bid outside the top pair with a furlong remaining but lacked the needed late kick. CANOODLING controlled the pace on the inside, challenged by GOING TO VEGAS at the quarter pole, lost command into the stretch, fought back along the fence to the sixteenth pole and flattened late. EDDIE'S NEW DREAM stalked the speed outside a rival then three deep on the backstretch, got floated out a bit into the stretch and lacked a rally. THRUMPS DREAM (IRE) was off a bit slow in the beginning, settled on the inside, bumped with GOING GLOBAL (IRE) into the first turn, remained inside and saved ground to the stretch and could not rally when called upon.
