Chart notes
LIVERPOOL MAN stalked the early leader, had a good position on the turn and from the three path at the top of the stretch drew clear. STERLING ICE was away alertly, set the pace and had a clear lead on the turn but failed to hold. SAILIN STREET was in mid pack, roused on the turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch was the best of the rest. STRONG ATTITUDE was off slow and saved ground on the turn but had no late kick. SALT MINE TEDDY showed no speed and had a mild gain on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch evened out. CONQUER THE BREEZE was off the pace and hustled along on the turn but had no impact. BADDEST BLUES broke poorly and showed nothing in a dull effort. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER ON SAILIN STREET AGAINST LIVERPOOL MAN FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE START WAS NOT ALLOWED.
