Chart notes

NIP N TUCK saved ground, bid in early stretch and dueled along the rail, winning under steady urging. RIVER REDEMPTION was unrushed early inside, bid at the quarter pole, led late but was caught. EL SOCIO settled in the two path, swung six wide at the quarter pole and gained the show spot late. EYE OF THE CAT saved ground, bid three wide at the top of the stretch but couldn't close in the final yards. KILLER BEE pressed the pace in the three path, then gave way in the stretch. FAITHFUL RULER led inside, fanned three wide into the stretch and then gave way. CARTIER CAT was not a factor. NAMESAKE rushed up five wide on the first turn to duel outside of the leader, then gave way in the stretch.
