Chart notes
CANDY INVASION saved ground on the first turn then eased outward into the backstretch, bid toward the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn five wide and dug in widest to take over late yards. NORTHERN RIDGE settled off the rail on the first turn then eased outward into the backstretch, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn then dug in through the lane to take second under the wire. MISSIONSNINETYNINE raced with the pace two deep, challenged at the seven sixteenths pole and dueled at even terms from the five sixteenths, contested the edge through the far turn, was steadily encouraged leaving the turn but gave up the lead later yards then nipped from second under the wire. SPUNMAN saved ground on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, came between horses mid-stretch and finished well. ALLEN CAN DO IT settled off the pace in the two and three paths, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn then flattened the final sixteenth. MIDNIGHT SHIFT raced off the pace about the three path on the opening turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran two deep on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. PISTOL P rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure and was met at the five sixteenths pole, contested at a close disadvantage nearest the rail on the far turn but weakened toward mid-stretch.
