Chart notes
SPECIAL BEAM dueled for the lead and made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole to shake clear, then drew clear in the furlong grounds and maintained a safe margin to prove best, driving. TAK E LADY tracked the early pace and was on the inside on the turn, angled out by the furlong marker and was gaining late. EXTRA CRUNCHY dueled for the lead on the inside and faded in the drive, lasted for the show award. MYSTERY ITEM chased the pace and was four wide on the turn, came five wide into the drive and offered a late rally. PEACE WITH HONOR tracked the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid on the turn and then was empty. SOCIAL EXCLUSION angled in to the inside around the half mile peg, then raced on the inside on the turn, swung out four wide for the drive, bumped with MYSTERY ITEM, then angled out leaving the furlong marker and offered a belated rally. TIP TOP TAPPER was not a factor.
