Chart notes
NIMITZ CLASS was allowed to settle early, advanced three wide on the turn, came four wide into the drive, was in traffic when straightened, split rivals by the furlong marker, then shifted out and closed full of run to get up late and edged away to prove best, driving. UNCLE BUDDY tracked the early pace three wide, then shifted to the inside leaving the turn and made a inside bid by the furlong maker, led by the sixteenth pole but could not hold off the winner, second best. CENTER MID MADDIE dueled for the lead on the inside, made a bid to shake clear by the quarter pole, then came off the inside leaving the turn and faded the final furlong. BOURBON MUSIC chased the pace and was four wide on the turn, came five wide into the drive and had no kick. ALLEVARE was settled back early, advanced on the inside on the turn, swung out and angled out wide in the stretch and had a belated rally. CONCRETE GLORY dueled for the lead three wide and weakened in the drive. FED CHAIR lacked a rally. TALENTED MAN was off slowly and failed to menace. JEAN VALJEAN was off a step slow, made a four wide move on the turn and then was empty. DOWNTOWNCHALYBROWN was off a bit slow, then chased the pace on the inside and stopped.
