Chart notes
CROOKED FINGER RAY showed good early speed to set the early pace and held gamely in the drive to be clear under steady handling. HEY SEQUOIA dropped back early on, moved up through the stretch drive, split foes nearing the sixteenth pole and got up for the place position late. ORCADIAN STORM pressed the pace and weakened while racing off the inside. WINE AT NINE settled off the early pace, raced along the inside through the far turn, continued to race near the inside in the drive and had not enough in the stretch run. THE PRESS settled off the early going, raced towards the outside in the lane and had no late response.
