Chart notes
ALPINE HYPNOSIS pressed the early pace, took a narrow advantage near the eighth pole, dug in late and prevailed under all out pressure. WARRIORS HERO settled off the early pace, raced near the inside at the quarter pole, angled five to six wide through the upper stretch and finished gamely to just miss. LIGHTNING STAR stalked the pace, made an outside bid through the upper stretch and had not enough for the top pair. KEEP ON DANZING took up at the break, raced five wide near the seven eighths pole, stalked the pace and had no late response. BUHM'S CANDY BOY showed good early speed to set the early pace and gave way in the drive. The quarter and half mile fractional time was unavailable.
