Chart notes
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE went four then three wide around the first turn, stalked outside rivals up the backstretch, bid outside the top pair past the quarter pole, dueled with MASHHAD FLATS down the lane and was all out to edge that rival. MASHHAD FLATS stumbled and bumped in the beginning, went up to be forwardly placed to the outside of the pacesetter, challenged at the seven-sixteenths pole, took a short lead while dueling on the far turn, put away inner rival then battled CONTINENTAL DIVIDE in the final furlong but was edged for the win. FAMILY BIZ stumbled leaving the gate, sat near the back early on, trailed two wide into the far turn, steered out and came five wide into the stretch, closed well from the middle portion of the track but could not reach the top pair. GRAY MAGICIAN off slow from inside, settled along the rail then moved up close on the backstretch, tipped two wide entering the stretch then moved further out and flattened. MONGOLIAN LEGEND went five wide into the first turn then moved into the four path, traveled at the back while remaining well off the rail, angled to the three path around the far turn then got floated out and crowded entering the stretch and failed to menace. VERY IRISH broke out and bumped rival, chased in the two path early, ran up on heels and had to steady past the five-eighths pole, rounded the far turn two then three wide and weakened. CAJUN TREASURE sped clear and set the pace early, dueled inside a rival on the far turn, lost touch into the stretch, eased through the lane and walked off.
