Chart notes
TWO GUNS tracked the pace three wide into the first turn then engaged rivals for the lead in the entering the backstretch, dueled three deep and continued to battle outside of HERZEN into the upper stretch, dug in under firm handling and edged away in the final furlong. HERZEN dueled with MR FROST around the first turn then took on the added challenge of TWO GUNS in the early backstretch, vied between rivals into the far turn, continued to battle for command inside of the winner past the furlong marker then failed to move on. BILLY YANK tracked the embattled trio up the backstretch, hustled up two wide around the far turn then angled in approaching the head of the lane, sustained steady response and cleared the rest. MR FROST dueled inside of HERZEN for the early lead, continued to battle with the addition of the eventual winner through the backstretch then faded on the final turn. CANONIZE raced in the back but was not far back early on then faded around the far turn.
