ANCHOR UP had outside speed under pressure, opened up into turn, turned back a bid from EL TOPECITO in late turn, opened up stretch, held well. KING WITT forced pace inside early, stalked a bid battle from the inside on the turn, advanced to take the place position into the stretch, held it gamely. RUNAWAY HURRICANE stalked outside, wide into stretch, rallied to make a place bid. SWIPE LEFT bumped at the break with EL TOPECITO, inside early, advanced outside turn, tired stretch. EL TOPECITO, bumped at the break, stalked forced pace outside early, made a bid outside the winner on the turn, was turned back in late turn. L'ETAT (GER) showed little.
