Chart notes
STAR ALIGNMENT set the pace on a clear lead, was showed the stick in late turn and into the lane, quickly opened the advantage, was shown the crop again nearing the sixteenth pole when far clear then was geared down the last seventy yards while being much the best. FAST ICE chased the winner throughout while in the four to the three path, could not stay close into the lane but stayed on to be well clear of the others. GJALLARHORN was in the three path through the far turn and was in a drive to maintain the show spot. PROJECT THUNDER was near the rail while chasing the top two into the far turn then was empty into the lane. UNCLE BUFF steadily lost ground while near the inside.
