Chart notes
COMMANDING GENERAL rated close to the early pace inside, challenged leaving the three eighths pole, contested the far turn two deep, dug in under steady stretch encouragement to take the lead in later yards and raced clear under the wire. AUBURN MILL took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and tapered in to rate the pace, came under pressure approaching the five sixteenths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, was steadily encouraged leaving the turn but gave up the lead in later yards. IT'S SIZZLING TIME stalked inside on the first turn and rated close through the backstretch, started a bid at the quarter pole, rounded the turn near the rail, dueled through the stretch for third and was gaining on the top two. E J'S REVENGE settled off the rail on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. SUNMAN settled back off the rail on the first turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and showed little in the lane. JAMMIN STILL settled in the three path the first turn, left the turn outside and showed little response. VICTORY GIVEN stalked the early pace about the three path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole but faded into the far turn.
