Chart notes
MEDICINE TAIL was bumped at the start, stalked the pace early along the rail, moved out into the two path through the turn, took over command nearing the lane and drew away late under a brisk drive. AMANI'S EAGLE was bumped at the start, set the pace early, raced on the inside through the turn, was overtaken nearing the lane and no match for the winner in the stretch run. WHAT A COUNTRY was bumped while between horses along the backstretch, again was bumped near the five sixteenths pole, raced in the four path into the lane and moved up late in the stretch drive. ISLAND BOY trailed the field early on, was in the three path into the lane while making a bid but weakened late in the stretch. VASARIANO was bumped near the five sixteenths pole, raced in the six path into the lane and faded late in the stretch. TILLIS had early speed then folded up.
