Chart notes
INTERCEPT vied for the lead on the inside, then was reigned in to let HEY CONGRATS set the pace, shifted out to make a three wide bid on the turn, then was floated out six wide leaving the turn, drew clear to prove much the best under a drive. SPIN CYCLE was reserved early on the inside, swung out four wide leaving the turn while advancing, angled out to the far outside by the furlong marker, finished with good energy. HEY CONGRATS vied for the early lead three wide, then went on to set the pace at the five sixteenths, came five wide into the lane while dueling for command, then weakened the final furlong, held show award. DROSSELMOON chased the early pace, then was on the inside at the quarter pole but lacked the needed winning bid, missed show award. COAST TO COAST chased the pace four to three wide on the turn, angled in by the quarter pole and was empty. START CASHIN was bumped at the start and failed to menace.
