REGAL RIOT away alertly and stalked the leader into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, shifted two wide entering the lane, and closed determinedly to get up in time. SOARINGFORTHESUN away well and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the backstretch, dictated the pace in the run down the backstretch , maintained his advantage into the final turn, but was unable to fend off REGAL RIOT in the final strides. GUNFIGHTER settled off the early pace while racing two wide from between rivals entering the backstretch, rallied smartly three wide through the final turn, and closed willingly four wide in the drive in a solid effort. VANCOUVER'S HUNTER broke sharply and stalked the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied two wide through the final turn, and finished four wide in the stretch drive. MOUNT ASGARD was bumped at the start, but recovered to track the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, pressed the pacesetter into the final turn, but was outfinished in the late stages. MAKEITORBREAKIT settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail in the run down the backstretch, continued to save ground entering the final turn, but failed to respond when called upon. HANKY PRANKY stalked the early pace while racing six wide into the backstretch, continued with a wide trip throughout, and faded over the final furlong.
