WILLOW MOON rated a slim lead inside, dueled clear toward the quarter pole, her rider lost his whip somewhere on the turn but she steadily increased her lead under a vigorous hand ride through the lane. TIZ THE REASON pressured the pace inside, dropped back at the rail nearing the quarter pole, dug in under steady encouragement leaving the turn and just lasted for second. THELADYISTRUE chased, rounded the turn near the rail, dug in leaving the turn and just missed second. INCLUDE THE BEAST gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path and finished evenly outside. UNCANNY gave chase inside, ran in the three path of the turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. MY PRETTY EYES saved ground. WINDSOR'S CHAMPION gave early chase toward mid track, ran in the three path of the turn then weakened.
