Chart notes
TAP THE BRAKES tracked the top flight into the turn, given cue heading into the upper stretch, steadily edged up closer and ran down LANCELOT N ELAINE in deep stretch. LANCELOT N ELAINE vied outside of STORM THE FIELD in early stages then shook clear mid-way around the turn, came two wide into the lane, continued clear a furlong out and got edged out late. IT'S ALL ABOUT JOE rated off the top two flights in the early going chased two wide around the turn then shifted out four wide in the upper stretch and gained show. JUST JOHNNY tracked the top pair up the backstretch, coaxed three wide around the turn and failed to move on. APOLLO BAY was slow into stride out of the gate, lacked early speed and raced in the back, hustled along three to four wide into the upper stretch and failed to rally. STORM THE FIELD vied inside of LANCE:OT N ELAINE in early stages, could not match move on mid-way around the turn and faded through the lane.
