Chart notes
J J'S FANCY rushed up two wide to make the lead before the turn, set the balance of the pace, widened into the stretch, drifted out past mid track and prevailed under mild urging. MOBIL MEISTER away alertly, set the early pace two wide, gave up the lead before the turn chased the winner from there and finished second best. WHERETHERE'SSMOKE never far back, improved position through the stretch in the six path. ST PATTY'S SONG prompted the early pace, dropped back on the turn then came on again along the rail late. QUEEN OF THE TILES failed to menace. WAFFLESORPANCAKES with the second flight two wide, gave way in the stretch.
