Chart notes
HOT BLOODED saved ground off the pace, went two wide between foes rounding the far turn, was shuffled back to the last late on the far turn, swung widest in upper stretch, surged outside and was up in the final strides. ME AND MR. C was bumped between rivals at the start, raced off the pace two wide between foes, edged closer three wide between around the far turn, angled to the rail in upper stretch, squeezed through a narrow opening inside of MAX K. O., took the lead in deep stretch but was unable to resist the winner in the final strides. UNO TIGER was bumped between foes at the start then squeezed back soon after, trailed inside for five furlongs, advanced four wide around the far turn, rallied between foes in the lane but was outkicked. MAX K. O. was off slow, raced two wide in midpack early, advanced three wide around the far turn, took over turning for home, drew clear, angled in near the sixteenth pole and weakened. CUY broke inwardly and bumped ME AND MR. C at the start, chased the pace three and four wide and was one-paced in the lane. FREEDOM MATTERS saved ground in range and lacked a closing bid. ALABAMA SLAMMER broke out and bumped UNO TIGER at the start, prompted the pace two wide, bid around the far turn, briefly led and tired. SHIVAREE set the pace along the rail and gave way near the five-sixteenths pole.
