Chart notes
DARE TO FAIL chased in contention along the inside around the turn, launched an inside bid racing in tandem with BORK at the head of the lane, drifted out wider under left handed pressure which caused BORK to lose momentum, in the final furlong, straightened under right handed pressure and ran on. WESLEYAN sped to the lead soon after the start and held firm around the turn, continued clear a furlong out then got reeled in late. BORK raced four deep in contention heading into the turn, made a bid racing in tandem with DARE TO FAIL at the head of the lane, got carried out and lost momentum when rival drifted out in the final furlong then stayed on with good response. FREER raced in contention between rivals around the turn, tipped a path wider in the upper stretch and gave way. LAMELO got bumped repeatedly at the start and dropped tp last, lacked speed and raced in the last flight, came four to five wide into the upper stretch and failed to threaten. MEET GEORGE JETSON lacked speed and raced in the last flight, saved ground around the turn and never menaced. ROBERT WHO showed early response then retreated. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY DARE TO FAIL WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE TO BORK IN THE LANE
