BETA Contested the lead from the outset, two path around the turn, responded when roused and kicked clear to be ridden out. TALE OF MINESHAFT Well placed along the three path, gained on the turn to almost reach the leaders, chased in the lane and then held the place. DR. MARBOOZ Jostled at the start, lagged back along the three path, two path on the turn, responded and rallied inside. DOUBLE VISION Broke two lengths slow, four wide on the turn, angled out and failed to gain. TRIGGER PULL Ducked in bumping with DR. MARBOOZ at the start, well placed along the rail into the turn, three path out of it and weakened. NUEVA YORK Ducked out bumping with DR. MARBOOZ at the start, saved ground and tired. SOUTH AFRICA Vied for the lead along the rail to the top of the lane and gave way.
