QUARTERMASTER never far back, looped up three and four wide through the turn, bid four wide into the lane, drifting in slightly, brushing QUARTERMASTER, dueled with that one and drove clear. HE'S ON THE FLY tracked the pace, held position two and three wide through the turn, bid three wide into the lane, was brushed, then dueled with the winner and could not threaten that one. TOTAL DISTRACTION sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, increased his margin through the turn, drew off in the lane, then weakened late and held the show. STRETCH RUNNER allowed to settle, looped three wide through the turn, angled widest in the stretch and closed for a share. CHARLIV stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the turn, then faded in the stretch. CAKE AND EAT IT TO was a brief factor, inside.
