Chart notes
KLAATU broke in front, set the pace in the two path into the stretch, drifted out bumping VALEROSO at the top of the stretch, was headed near the furlong marker, fought back gamely and got back up in time. ISTILLGOTIT moved up along the rail after a half, checked repeatedly while lacking room from three eighths pole past the five sixteenths pole, angled out also bumping VALEROSO midway on the second turn, came through along the inside when the leader drifted out, gained a slight lead before the furlong marker then finished second best. VALEROSO chased the pace from the start, was bumped midway on the far turn and the top of the stretch, drew on near even terms for the lead before the eighth pole then was outfinished. PALTARREVENGE was restless in the gate, hopped out and went evenly. LOVE TREE had speed into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. CONDUCIVE trailed. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND AFTER REVIEW DISQUALIFIED ISTILLGOTIT FOR INTERFERENCE ON THE SECOND TURN AND PLACED HIM THIRD.
