Chart notes
PRACTICAL COACH hustled to the front inside, widened in the stretch and remained well clear under steady urging. THE HONORABLE ONE saved ground throughout and made a gradual gain in the stretch. BOSSMAN JONES prompted the pace outside throughout and continued willingly. JOHNNY SACK trailed early inside, angled wide down the backstretch and made a mild bid. MY BROTHER NEIL was fanned wide on the first turn then weakened steadily. NORTHERN EXPRESS chased between rivals in the opening half mile then faded. MIDNIGHT CHROME prompted the pace outside for half a mile, stopped abruptly, was eased and walked off.
