Chart notes
HAPPY AS YOU GO close up from the start, steadied between horses entering the turn, dropped back, shifted outside, was forced wide entering the stretch, closed with a burst of speed under left handed urging to make the lead late and drew off. JUSTA COWGIRL never far back, late determinedly along the rail in deep stretch and finished clear for second. INSPIRING LILY broke in front, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. ROCK STAR LADY passed tiring rivals. SWEET BETTY JOYCE hopped at the start, moved up three wide on the turn, swung wide then faded near mid track. QUEEN AIR chased the pace into the turn, stopped pulled up bleeding from the nostrils in upper stretch and was walked off.
