BIJEMINI SLEW In hand along the three path, challenged four across nearing the three-eights pole, hooked up with interstate midway around, battled that one, drifted out at the sixteenths pole bumping the latter and was bumped late while proving best. INTERSTATE Broke sluggishly, in hand four wide, challenged four across nearing the three-eighths pole, dueled with the BIJEMINI SLEW, was bumped by that one at the sixteenths pole and then bumped the winner late. DUTCHMEN FOREVER Broke sluggishly, well placed along the rail to the last turn, two path into the lane and weakened. NAVY PIER Broke sluggishly, lagged far back along the rail, two path on the last turn and failed to take part. GO CASH GO Tracked, vied along the two path after a half mile to the last turn, continued on that path into the lane and tired. HURRICANE ALPHA Sets the pace for a half mile, dueled some after that and gave way. Stewards inquiry was posted concerning the stretch run, also a claim of foul was lodged by the rider of INTERSTATE against the winner for interference at the sixteenths pole, was not allowed.
