Chart notes
GUACO unhurried in the early going, moved up three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. FRANZ JOSEF set the pace on the inside, drew off through the second turn, then was outfinished. RIBBONS AND MEDALS fractious in the gate, steadied for room through the first turn and dropped back, looped up three wide through the second turn, made a steady gain and edged up for the show. TEMPLET well placed, saved ground through the turn, moving up through the second turn, angled three wide into the stretch and weakened late. ORAZIO mid pack, lost some ground three and four wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and had no rally. STARSHIP EMPIRE stalked the pace outside pulling, lost some ground through the second turn, then faded in the lane. SLIABH AUGHTY (FR) was no factor. ROUGH NIGHT well placed, faded inside through the second turn.
