Chart notes
MO MORE broke sharply, pulled his way clear to the backstretch, steadily widened the margin into the stretch and was kept to his task. GRUNDER tracked the pacesetter between foes, then outside a rival racing to the far turn, had no closing bid but prevailed for the place honors. SLIGHTLY CRAFTY settled outside foes in early stages, angled to the rail on the far turn and improved position inside foes into the lane. BON DEUX tracked the pacesetter inside rivals in second flight to the far turn and faded into the stretch. PERIPATETIC settled well off the second flight near the inside racing to the backstretch and proved no threat. PROCURADOR trailed the field to the stretch. SILLY BILLY tracked just off the second flight three wide racing to the far turn and gave way.
