Chart notes
BIG NICK set the pace while under pressure from the outside through the turn, cleared into the lane, slowly inched up to the eighth pole then widened through the final sixteenth. ALEBRIJE chased the pacesetters into the turn from the three path, bid three wide through late turn, came into the lane from the three or four path into the lane then could not keep up with the winner while staying on for the place spot and second best. SPEIGHTY WAR pressed the pace from between rivals through the turn and into the lane then weakened. INTEND saved ground throughout and just missed the show spot. NAMESAKE raced in the two to the four path through the turn when trailing, swung into the lane from the five path and never was a threat.
