Chart notes
ALLEGE vied for the lead while two wide, was in a long drive, then dug in gamely at the top of the lane to duel with an outside rival in the final furlong and was just up for the win. POPULAR KID vied for the lead while four wide, was in a steady drive coming into the far turn, gained the short mid stretch then dueled with an inside rival but was out nodded for the win. SONNEMAN vied for the lead while three wide, was in a hard drive on the far turn then gave way in the final furlongs. OLIVER vied for the lead from the inside, then dropped back down the backstretch and never fired. DRIFTING WEST trailed throughout and was never a factor.
