Chart notes
ASTUTE WARRIOR settled back off the early leaders three wide in stalking position, rallied four wide in late backstretch to move clear and open the lead then was under steady handling in the lane to hold the margin. WEST COAST BROKER was on the pace outside HOLIDAY MAN through the opening half mile, continued to chase the winner into the lane and held well to edge back clear for the place. BREAK FREE stalked the pace in good position three then four wide but lacked a final closing run. THETRASHMANSCOMING saved ground and moved up through the lane while not a threat. WATER PATROL failed to mount a bid three wide. ON THE BRIDGE was not a threat. HOLIDAY MAN contested the pace inside WEST COAST BROKER for a half and tired.
