Chart notes
BRIAN'S AVENUE rated a slim lead inside, was met at the nine sixteenths pole but drew clear toward the quarter, raced near the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled to hold on. TOM TERRIFIC 's rider lost an iron on the first turn and raced well back leaving the turn, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, angled to the seven path on the far turn, finished well for second and was gaining on the winner. BOATSWAIN settled back off the rail the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn and dueled through the stretch for third. CONFUSION BABY BOY rounded the opening turn about the four path, bid nearing the three eighths pole, came through the far turn in the four path then flattened mid-stretch. TY RAN A HOMER ran in the five path the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole, came through the far turn in the five path and ran evenly in the lane. BRUTUS rated close to the early pace inside, gave chase from the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. BOBBY TWO TIMES raced well back early and saved ground on the far turn. WIZARD OF ODDS rated close to the early pace about the three path, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then faded in the four path of the far turn. TIZ AUCTION TIME showed little response. SILVER CASTLE stalked two deep early and raced at even terms from the nine sixteenths pole, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then weakened in the three path of the far turn.
