Chart notes
REDLINE broke in and bumped rival, pulled early and had to check off heels past the half-mile pole, angled five leaving the turn, rallied widest through the lane and drew clear in the final sixteenth. FLASH OF GENIUS off a bit slow to begin, got put in tight by the leader and checked along the rail early, chased from inside to the stretch, rallied near the fence and gained the place. SHUT UP MICHAEL (IRE) took a bumped from outside at the start, dropped back early then moved closer in tandem with REDLINE, bid three deep around the turn, vied four wide into the lane, took a brief lead in midstretch but was overtaken by the winner at the sixteenth pole and was edged for second. STREET ART forwardly placed in the early going, bid two wide then between horses on the turn, took a short lead in upper stretch, lost command midstretch and was outkicked for the place and show. DON'TCROSSTHEDEVIL trailed up the backstretch, three wide through the turn and failed to menace. COWBOY CHARLIE set the pace on the inside to the turn, vied with a pair of rivals late past the five-sixteenths pole, lost command in upper stretch, steadied when losing his path midstretch and weakened.
