Chart notes
PROVOCATIVE PRINCE steadied in tight quarters leaving the opening turn, stalked inside, angled four wide off the final turn, rallied outside and was along in time. CATS TOUCH GRAY ADMIRAL clipped the back heels, dueled inside of MR.KALYPSO, rallied inside through the stretch and was caught late. MR. KALYPSO fanned four wide through the backstretch, contested the lead from the three path, dueled through the stretch and weakened late. VIATURE sat off the pacesetters while four to five wide, chased four wide into the stretch, and closed late. JUMEIRAH COAST sat in striking range from the four path and failed to threaten in the drive. BECKHAM JAMES was in tight and bumped in the first turn, checked then chased outside, and weakened in the stretch. WYE CROSS broke slow, trailed and offered a late mild bid. LONE PIONEER was bumped hard and knocked off stride and was unable to recover ground. GRAY ADMIRAL was in tight in the first turn, was taken up abruptly bumping into BECKHAM JAMES, rider lost stirrups then regained them at the five eighths pole and retired early. STEWARDS INQUIRY- The Stewards conducted an inquiry into the first turn but made no change after review.
