Chart notes
YABA DABA DOO bumped at the start, soon gained the lead and the inside, showed the way in hand, was challenged on the turn, drew clear when asked into the lane and kept COOL AMBITION at bay under steady handling. COOL AMBITION settled at the back, picked up his pace when roused along the rail on the bend, waited for room upper stretch, altered out three wide when that path opened nearing the eighth pole, was all out, came up short but was clearly best of the others. COPPER CROSSING broke outward, bumping YABA DABA DOO, was forwardly placed between horses, three wide taking the turn, floated out slightly nearing the furlong marker then pulled away for third inside the last eighth. BAM BAM CAM moved to the outside of YABA DABA DOO after the first furlong, vied for the lead on the bend, was no match for the latter when set down for the drive and gave way the final furlong. RICHIESONARAMPAGE raced in contention widest of all for a half mile then gave way.
