Chart notes
PRIVATE MISSION stalked off the inside, applied pressured leaving the backstretch, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, cleared leaving the far turn and held well under right then left handed urging and steady handling late. BLUE STRIPE (ARG) pulled a bit into the first turn, moved to the inside around that bend, tipped out and took aim two then three wide into the stretch, finished well but could not get to the winner. VARDA tracked three to four wide around both turns, finished willingly through the drive but got outkicked for the place honors. LADY MYSTIFY sprinted clear from inside, showed the way up the backstretch, took pressure at the seven-sixteenths pole, relinquished the lead at the five-sixteenths pole, lost touch with the winner leaving the far turn and weakened. MIDNIGHT JAMBOREE drifted out around the first turn while trailing early, went two wide into the second bend, came four wide into the drive and was not a factor. BYE BYE BERTIE got crowded between rivals shortly after the start, steered to the inside then moved off the rail on the clubhouse turn, chased four then three wide on the second bend and came up empty.
