Chart notes
EASTERN BAY was bumped at the start, raced off the early contested pace, angled out through the lane, surged and was clear late under strong pressure. ARTHUR'S HOPE vied for the outside while racing outside rival, led near the eighth pole, dug in gave way grudgingly in a game effort. DARK OAK was bumped at the start, raced off the early going, raced near the rail through the far turn, angled five wide and rallied well late. NUCLEAR OPTION showed good early speed to set the pace from the inside, dueled past the eighth pole and faded late. ALWAYSINAHURRY was jostled at the break, rushed from the inside, tracked near the quarter pole, eased out lane, made a good bid near the eighth pole and weakened late. KARAN'S NOTION drifted in at the break, put rivals in tight, was rated early, was four deep near the quarter pole, was a presence midstretch and gave way. EXCULPATORY stalked the pace while racing three wide, was asked near the five sixteenths pole, dropped back and faded in the drive.
