DRIFAROS was bumped at the start, dueled two wide for the lead, continued to duel with GLITTER UP on the turn, led into the stretch and drew clear from that rival in midstretch. GLITTER UP dueled inside for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch and saved the place spot. PONY GIRL stalked two wide early, chased the leaders on the turn, moved up at the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane, then lacked a stretch bid. NAVY GIRL was off slowly, raced off the pace, chased on the turn and lacked a rally. SILVER SPRINTER was reluctant loading, then bumped and steadied at the start, outrun early and did not factor. ATLANTIC FRONT was off slowly, chased inside and gave way in the lane.
