Chart notes
HOTROD RIDE vied for the lead then dueled on the first turn, inched ahead at the half-mile pole, overtaken early on the far turn but remained alongside the top pair to the stretch, fought back along the rail and dug in late to overtaken BAG'S GOLD in the final sixteenth. BAG'S GOLD broke out and bumped rival, vied between rivals into the first turn, got put in tight and shuffled back around the bend, moved out and chased three wide into the backstretch, bid three deep into the far turn, gained the lead past the five-sixteenths pole, led into deep stretch but got outkicked by the winner. VANISKY stumbled a bit and broke out, stalked two wide into the turn then angled out to the four path, remained four wide through the far turn, bid from outside in the lane but lacked the needed late punch. SIPPIN N KISSIN sat off the pace while angling to the rail on the first turn, tipped out leaving the far turn, angled out further at the top of the lane and needed to find more late. POSEIDON'S KID broke a step slow then went up to contest the pace three deep then dueled from outside leaving the clubhouse turn, vied between on the second bend and weakened in the late stages. CHRIS FIX was off slow and got bumped from inside, went two wide around the first turn, four wide into the stretch and could not rally.
