Chart notes
BASSETT set a pressured pace from the inside through the final turn, inched away in upper stretch and drew off. THE THIMBLE pressed the pace from off the rail, led between calls, battled with leader into the stretch to be second best. CIROC O CLOCK saved ground throughout made a late bid in the stretch to be up for the show. COUNTERFEIT race in the two path from near the back through the final turn and improved position late. CHAMBLISS was in the two path in the first turn, in tight and bumped foe in mid turn then took back to be off the rail in mid pack down the backstretch but weakened in the drive. DAPPER DAN MAN was unhurried from off the rail through the first turn and down the backstretch made a bid on the final turn from the four path but faltered in the drive. DATSWHATILIKE was in the four path on the first turn was bumped by foe in mid turn, mid pack down the backstretch and tired after three quarters.
