Chart notes
MY FRIEND MR. JIM either led or vied for the lead from the inside throughout and was able to hold off all challenges in the drive. ANITA'S VISION was five wide into the first turn then stalked the pace from the three path down the backstretch angled out in middle of the final turn to make a late rally and ran out of room. MISS KENNEDY was in the three path going into the first turn then dropped in slightly to press the pace from the two path through the final turn but was empty in the drive. START WELL was in the four path into the first turn then tracked the leaders from the two path angled out in upper stretch to the three path drifted out slightly and bumped rival but didn't launch a serious bid. JERSEY HOTTIE was allowed to settle on the inside but was not a threat.
