Chart notes
SUPER SURGE broke alertly and moved clear, widened on the turn then remained safe in a steady drive. DEBBIE'S SURPRISE saved ground close up, angled out in the stretch then narrowed the gap late. ESCANDALO raced wide throughout and showed some late energy. DON'T TELL GRANDMA pressed the pace outside and began fading on the turn. CONDUTTORE saved ground early, angled out on the turn and was no factor. COUSIN MARIE dwelt at the start then trailed throughout.
