BERKS set the early pace while clear, then turned back multiple bids on the turn, kicked clear leaving the turn when roused and remained clear to prove best. LIBERTY STAR prompted the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn but flattened out, held place award gamely. CHIEF RON chased the early pace and made a four wide bid on the turn but flattened out, missed place award. REX KWON DO chased the early pace and was between rivals on the turn, came four wide into the lane and shifted out to the outsider and had no rally.
