Chart notes
CANDY INVASION raced well back off the rail early on, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, closed to the front in the three path midway on the far turn and was kept alert to draw off. HARD LIGHTING saved ground racing well back, bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three and four paths, closed steadily and dueled through later yards for second. NORTHERN RIDGE rated off the pace and off the rail, rallied to the lead leaving the half mile pole, was caught at the rail midway on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. SAVATIANO broke outward then settled off the pace inside, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced close at the rail on the far turn then flattened in the lane. MR HOOVER raced off the early pace in the three and four paths, left the second turn outside and picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole then flattened off the rail on the far turn. WHAT DOES IT TAKE was shut off leaving the gate, settled off the pace in the two and three paths and bid only mildly leaving the seven sixteenths pole. HUMPTY GRUMPTY set the early pace inside, was caught leaving the half mile pole, gave chase from that point but weakened at the rail on the far turn. CHARGING LION raced off the rail and was through on the second turn. ALPHA QUEUE raced with the early pace, though, gave way leaving the second turn.
