GOLDEN GRANT raced close up early while three wide, stalked outside a rival, bid three wide on the far turn, led turning for home, responded when roused and pulled away under urging. INDIAN BELLA vied inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail and stayed on well for the place spot. OBSTINATE was fractious in the gate, tracked close up on the inside, advanced three wide at the quarter pole, bid and was outkicked. ANNIKA GOLD steadied soon after the start, trailed the field, then raced between rivals, came three wide into the lane and had no rally. ASSUME CONTROL vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the far turn and faded. ROAD TEST raced off the pace with an inside trip and did not factor. MELANCHOLY BLUES was steadied after the start, raced two wide off the pace, then three wide, three wide on the far turn and faded.
