Chart notes
TAKE A LEAP chased out of range early, went four wide into the turn, angled inside a runner early on the bend, moved back out and entered the stretch four wide, waited briefly behind rivals with a quarter mile left to run, gained a clear path and rallied to the front and won going away. ANA LISA went up to duel outside a rival early, vied between foes and four wide into the stretch, fought to the sixteenth pole and could not match the winner late but held the place. BUSY PAYNTER stumbled a bit leaving the gate then went up to contest the pace, inched ahead into the turn, led three wide into the stretch, clung to a short lead with a furlong left to run and yielded late. STARSHIP DEFIANT stalked the top pair from outside, bid three deep on the turn, vied five wide into the stretch and weakened in the late stages. ALOHA KITTEN chased three wide into the turn, angled out and entered the stretch six wide but flattened in the drive. CHROME OF OUR OWN broke a bit slow, trailed two wide into the stretch and never got involved.
